What is inside
Showing the loyalty card in the app as a QR or barcode lets customers stop carrying plastic. In the Loyalty card section they open the code and the cashier scans it straight from the screen.
Technical details:
- QR code — carries the customer id, the card number and an expiry.
- Barcode — compatible with offline terminals (EAN-13, Code 128).
- The code is refreshed every 24 hours, for security.
- Offline mode — the last code is cached, so it works with no signal at the till.
