What is inside
Plenty of products are not sold as «one item, one price». Tile is bought by the square metre but sold by the pack; cable comes by the metre off a reel; mortar comes in bags but is calculated by area.
Unit pricing sets the price against the unit you actually sell in, and the app shows both that price and the total for the quantity required. The shopper sees an honest number before checkout, which is the single biggest source of abandoned orders in these categories.
