What is inside
The ticker is a single scrolling line at the top of the home screen — the cheapest possible way to say one short thing to everyone.
It suits announcements that do not deserve a banner: free delivery over a threshold, a promo code, opening hours over a holiday, a warning about a delivery delay. The text is edited in the panel and updates without a new app build.
Keep it to one message at a time. A ticker cycling through five offers reads as noise and stops being noticed.
