A collection is a block of products on the home screen assembled by a rule rather than by hand: new arrivals, discounted items, a particular brand, everything in a price band.
Because the rule is evaluated against the live catalogue, the block keeps itself current — a product that sells out or comes back in stock leaves and rejoins the collection on its own. There is no limit on the number of collections, and their order on the screen is yours to set.
