Prices and stock

Besides the general catalogue refresh, the plugin can send only prices and stock to mobiusapp, separately and more often. That is convenient when products and descriptions change rarely while prices and availability change constantly. It keeps prices and stock in the app current without rebuilding the whole catalogue.

How to open it

In the WordPress admin panel open WooCommerce, Settings, Integrations, MobiusApp, and scroll to the "Prices and stock" section. The section is only available after connecting.

What you can configure

  • Refresh schedule: how often to send prices and stock: hourly, every 6 or 12 hours, daily, or manual only.

After changing it, save the settings.

How it works

The plugin sends prices and stock to the app's default warehouse. WooCommerce works with a single warehouse, so no separate warehouse mapping is needed: the data goes to the main mobiusapp shop warehouse from the loaded directories.

  • Price: the product's regular price; if a sale price is active, it is sent as the discounted price.
  • Stock: the quantity from inventory tracking; for in-stock products without tracking, the value from the "Stock when tracking is off" field of the Catalogue section is sent.

Besides the schedule, the plugin sends a price and a stock figure on the spot, whenever a product or its stock changes in the shop.

Sending by hand

To send prices and stock immediately, press "Refresh prices and stock now" in the Connection block. The time of the last send is shown next to the status.

Scenarios

Set up regular price sending

  1. In the "Prices and stock" section choose a refresh schedule.
  2. Save the settings.
  3. Press "Refresh prices and stock now" to check the data arrives.

Limits and caveats

  • The send only updates prices and stock in the app. New products, descriptions and photos reach the app through the catalogue export.
  • If the shop has no app warehouse (the directories are not loaded), the send will not run: press "Refresh directories" in the Connection block.
  • Multiple WooCommerce warehouses are not supported out of the box: the data goes to a single app warehouse.

Prices and stock are sent through the merchant-api in batches of up to 1,000 items. A product is matched by the same external identifier (the product or variation ID) as in the catalogue and in orders. The price is sent as the base price and the sale price as discount_price. Sending runs on a schedule (the WooCommerce action scheduler), on the button and on a product or stock change.
