Integration card

The page for connecting and configuring one external service. The connection method depends on the service: signing in through the service itself, entering access keys, or connecting with a pairing code.

How to open it

In the integration list click the card of the service you need.

What you can do

  • Connect a service by the chosen method
  • Test the connection and disconnect the service
  • Configure the service's own parameters

The interface

The current connection

If a service is connected, a state block is shown at the top: status, the date of the last synchronisation, the connection date and the last error if there was one. The Test connection and Disconnect buttons are here as well.

Connection methods

Depending on the service, one of the following is available:

  • Signing in through the service: the "Connect through ..." button redirects to the service's sign-in page.
  • Access keys: a form with fields, for example an application ID and an API key. Fill them in and press Connect.
  • Pairing code: for third-party CMS modules and marketplace solutions. Generate a one-time code, paste it into the module on the service side and wait for the connection. The page updates the status itself.

Service settings

Once connected, some services gain settings of their own:

  • An analytics service: choosing the app whose statistics to show.
  • An accounting system: the catalogue refresh mode, the mapping of extra fields, price types and the stock warehouse, the organisation and shipping warehouse for orders, and the order status mapping.

Scenarios

Connect with access keys

  1. Open the service card.
  2. Fill in the access key fields.
  3. Press Connect.
  4. Check that the status changed to Connected.

Connect with a pairing code

  1. Open the service card.
  2. Press "Generate code".
  3. Paste the code into the module or solution on the service side.
  4. Wait until the status changes to Connected.

Limits and caveats

  • A pairing code is single-use and valid for a limited time.
  • Service availability depends on your plan.
  • Payment gateways and delivery services are configured in the Taking orders settings, not here.
